The charm of Hay Wong goes beyond just its location. As a culinary enthusiast, I was captivated by the meticulous molecular precision that permeates each bamboo basket of dim sum. From the perfectly fluffy outer shell of the buns that crumbles delightfully upon biting, to the warm, gooey custard that fills them—each dish embodies the mastery of the chefs.

“ As a culinary enthusiast in Hong Kong, I've tried many local delicacies. However, nothing compares to the molecular precision of all the dimsum in bamboo baskets at this restaurant. I'm amazed at how they're made to order, ensuring that each bun has a perfectly fluffy outer shell that crumbles as you bite into it, a perfect contrast to the warm, gooey custard inside. Even amidst the bustling street sounds and the scents of the city, I am in awe of the experience. As I finish off the last bite, I feel a nostalgic satisfaction, reminiscent of Hong Kong's rich culinary history. ”
“ We wanted to give them 5 stars all across, just because they deserve the rating. Shout out to "Ah King"! She made the entire dining experience phenomenal. The food was wonderful. We will definitely go back to visit. ”
“ Chanced upon this restaurant while shopping at Ladies Market. Food was amazing, my favourite was their soup of the day, it was wintermelon pork ribs. The dimsum and fried items were also super tasty. I am definitely coming back here if I visit Hong Kong in future :) ”
“ Superb service, food quality and selection. We ordered a ton of food. All of which were nothing short of amazing. We'd recommend the deep-fried shrimp wonton (they came in a circular shape, like a fanned out wonton), and fish maw with shrimp ball. Their pork bun wasn't the best, but aside from that, all else was great. Plus the staff were very jovial and personable. Would come back here! ”
“ Stopped in here on a whim while visiting the ladies market and had a great experience! Staff kindly showed us how to “wash” dishes/chopsticks using the tea since we didn’t know what the bowl put on our table was used for so we got to learn something new. Food was delicious and brought out quickly. Ended up being one of our favourite dim sum spots we tried on our trip! ”
